On Nov 8, 2017, CISC Saskatchewan region hosted their Fall Steel Event in Saskatoon’s Lucky Bastard Distillery. A crowd of 50 CISC members & associates and industry guest thoroughly enjoyed the featured speaker, Dr. Michael O’Donoghue from International Paints/AkzoNobel. Dr. Mike, as he is known in the industry, discussed the finer details of intumescent fire protective coatings and applying fireproofing for cellulosic and hydrocarbon fires.
