The single point of contact between the structure and the natural formations that people have come to see is a respectful gesture. The structure itself brings a welcome refuge for the novice or experienced spelunker and intentionally expresses the man made qualities of repetition, precision, geometry, color, etc. in direct opposition to the rugged, dark and somewhat menacing interior of the cave.
