The CISC Education and Research Council proudly sponsored this popular annual conference at the Faculty of Architecture at McGill University on March 21, featuring a keynote by renowned architect Shohei Shigematsu, a partner at the New York office at OMA.
Sho’s lecture outlined his designs for cultural venues including the Quebec National Beaux Arts Museum and the Faena Arts Center in Miami Beach, as well as his direct collaborations with artists, including Cai Guo Qiang, Marina Abramovic and Kanye West.
Sho is currently designing a number of luxury high rise towers in San Francisco, New York, and Miami, as well as a mixed-use complex in Santa Monica.
