Ontario Bill 142, the Construction Lien Amendment Act, has passed its second reading with a unanimous vote at Queen's Park. The bill now heads to the committee stage for consideration. Bill 142 was introduced this spring and crafted throughout the summer to move the bill to the top of the legislative agenda.
