The CISC held its 87th Annual Conference and National Design Awards, and National Steel Symposium at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto last week, with over 300 delegates in attendance.

Key highlights of the week included

– The first ever CISC National Steel Symposium with multiple tracks featuring expert-led sessions on the latest topics and trends in steel design and construction

– The first CISC National Tradeshow which featured a diverse mix of exhibitors showcasing their products and services to the steel construction industry

– Multiple social and networking events such as golf, our Chairman’s Reception, Steel Sponsors Reception and Fun Night, inspiring keynote sessions and engaging presentations, and a Membership engagement & Marketing workshop

– A grand finale with our prestigious National Design Awards Gala which celebrated excellence in steel construction with Awards to mutiple projects across the country
