Sperling Industries began in 1978 as a small welding shop run by three brothers: Russ, Dave, and Jeff Nicolajsen.

Over the last 40+ years the business has remained family owned and operated and has grown into a multi-disciplinary business taking on projects all over the world. Sperling strives to provide an exceptional level of service in implementing flexible and inventive solutions on all projects. Since starting out, their abilities as a company have grown, however, their objective is to perform their own work, and to remain diversified in their abilities.

Their core strength is in the execution of complex, multi-disciplinary industrial projects. They have the ability to design, fabricate and install custom structural and mechanical process systems. Sperling offers an extensive fleet of cranes and equipment to supplement their experienced and highly skilled employees to efficiently execute projects of any size under the most demanding schedules.

Sperling has a team that includes both mechanical and structural engineers which employ the latest in 3D modelling and design technologies. For example, they offer structural steel design and engineering, facility layout, process design, and conveyance equipment design services to name a few.

They operate approximately 75,000 sq ft of fabrication facilities which house advanced CNC processing equipment and manual tools and processes to supplement our diverse range of fabrication abilities. Their paint facility has the ability to apply a variety of systems ranging from general alkyd enamel paints to high build epoxy systems.

Some of our certifications ISO9001:2015, CSA W47.1 Div 2, COR Certification, Certificate of Authorization for ASME Codes B31-1&3, and Certificates of Authorization for EGM and APEGS.
