Driving our Freightliner day cab (pulling our trailers), 26’ Flat bed, cab over Hino and or our Chevrolet Silverado..25 is a minimum age, but the more important thing is at least 3 years verifiable experience driving the same type of equipmentMajority will be legal, some dimensional loads that are covered by our annual permitsTypically, our customers are within the GTA, but we do go as far as a 3-4 hour radius of Norak (Windsor to North Bay to Kingston).Our hours are Mon to Thurs 7AM to 4PM and Fri 7AM to 1PM. Needless to say, some mornings may mean an earlier start to get on site by 7:00AM and some days, a little later than 4PM
Key Responsibilities:
Create and develop structural steel models based on the contract documents using SDS/2 steel detailing software;
Prepare fabrication (shop) drawings and erection drawings as required;
Help to coordinate projects and/or check drawings prepared by others;
Maintain a current working knowledge and understanding of the latest version of the AISC/CISC Steel Construction Manual as it relates to connection design, detailing practices, steel member dimensions and properties;
Review contract documents to understand project’s scope and requirements, identify all potential areas of concern and prepare Request For Information (RFI’s) as required;
Interpret and incorporate Approval Comments, Contract Changes and other revisions into the scope of the project;
Prepare all necessary lists, documents or files (shop & field bolts, galvanized pieces, CNC files, etc.) to the appropriate department in support of the project;
Participate in the quality management program.
Qualifications:
Valid AZ driver’s license.
A clean driving record.
Proven experience driving heavy-duty trucks, trailers.
Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
The ability to concentrate for extended periods.
The ability to utilize GPS devices and road maps.
Strong driving skills.
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
Effective communication skills.
