Fitter – Structural Steel

Structural Fitters at Telco Steel Works use manual welding equipment, measuring tools (tape measures, squares, etc.) to fit mild steel (ferrous) parts together, following shop fabrication drawings and job specifications. They may also use metal chop saws, ironworker punch/shear press, band saw, drill press and other equipment in their duties. Structural Fitters are required to be able to adjust and monitor production according to work specifications.
