CISC congratulates the research grant recipients for the 2017-2018 academic year: Ali Imanpour (University of Alberta), Nicolas Boissonnade (Université Laval), Nathalie Roy (Université de Sherbrooke), and Shahria Alam (University of British Columbia) & Robert Tremblay (École Polytechnique de Montréal). The total value of research grants awarded is $95,950. The 2017 H.A. Krentz Research Award goes to Ali Imanpour for having the top-ranked research proposal on “Simplified Design Methods for Steel Multi-Tiered Braced Frames in Regions of Low and Moderate Seismicity”.
