CISC Saskatchewan Spring Steel event on bolted connections showcases Steel’s unparalleled design versatility

The CISC Saskatchewan Region’s Spring Steel event  on May 12^th in Saskatoon featuring bolted connections attracted a group of 45 engineers and fabricators.  Our main speaker, Dr. Ian MacPhedran from the University of Saskatchewan covered a wide range of topics related to getting the best performance from bolted connections in steel design.  CISC associate Infasco also presented on manufacturing specifications of various bolt designs. Both presentations inspired the consultant community, who followed up with lots of great questions and discussion during the Q&A session and the reception that followed.
