CISC launches new Code of Standard Practice, 8th edition

CISC is pleased to launch our  new Code of Standard Practice for Structural Steel, 8^th edition, available as a free download on our website.

The CISC Code of Standard Practice for Structural Steel is a compilation of usual industry practices relating to the design, fabrication and erection of structural steel. These practices evolve over time and are subject to change as methods improve. The following topics have undergone major revisions in the 8^th edition:
