This is the first permanent big top in Canada, and is also a "green building" initiative.
This 50,000 square foot building is specifically dedicated to the production and public presentation of the circus, including offices for the campus administrators and developers. Located within the ``CitÚ des arts du cirque``, a new campus inspired bythe presence of the prestigious Cirque du Soleil, this building complements the facilities, all dedicated to training, production and development of the fascinating world of the Cirque. An aggressive green building program engaged a number of innovative features, such as passive geothermal and natural displacement ventilation.
