Since 1982 the International Short & Medium Span Bridges Conference has been held every four years in Canada to provide a worldwide state-of-the-art forum on short and medium span bridges (i.e., spans less than 150m).
The 2010 SMSB Conference will take place in Niagara Falls, Ontario, one of Canada’s major historic locations and its premier tourist destination. Bridge designers, contractors, administrators and researchers from around the world will again enjoy this unique opportunity to discuss case studies of recent practices and new research concerning highway, railway and pedestrian bridges.
