The 51-storey office tower has been designed to reuse the existing substructure, including three basement levels and parts of the original central core, which had previously been built up to the sixth floor of a partially constructed 62-storey tower.

The new building was constructed further west of the original construction immediately adjacent to Bay Street on the north side of Adelaide Street. The typical office floor is framed with concrete slab on steel deck on long-span composite steel trusses, which in turn are supported on high-strength steel gravity columns. A new concrete core was constructed from the lowest parking floor in a tight excavation which partially included local areas of the previously constructed parking garage to the top of the tower.
